As a parent of a Highfield student, you can expect to receive feedback about your child in every term. Below you will see an overview of the reporting for each year group.

Below is an overview of what each report will cover.
Approach to Learning (AtL) Report
Subject teachers allocate a 1-4 grade in the following areas as a ‘Settling In’ report at the beginning of the new academic year:
- Contribution in lessons – answering questions, using initiative, group work.
- Organisation – being equipped and ready to learn.
- Home learning – quality and submitted regularly.
- Positive attitude to the subject.
Progress Report
- Based on assessments all year including end of year exam assessments.
- Updated reporting of House Points, Behaviour Points and attendance.
